The idea was to have a small control field (image with ismap) to control the browser window. Like state-of-the-art text-editors allow splitting of windows to edit multiple text-files, from that the idea of Framer came.

Framer 2. Download

framer.cgi (perl-source) and put into your cgi-bin.

Framer 4. Usage

Resize the browser to full-screen, and split it with Framer:
